We have reached our beautiful gite La Fleurieu in Puy-l’Évêque after spending two nights in Bordeaux. What a beautiful city! I highly recommend it.

I would say that the French may be worse in not picking up dog poo though!! So many piles left on the pavements

Lovely... I have heard that the streets of Paris are lined with dog poo. Apparently everyone walks their dog after dark so no one notices their 'deposits'.

Personally I'd go out in daylight so I can avoid standing in them!
