I see there are a few people looking for whippet's on K9. There is a blue whippet x looking for a good home at Dog Page Forum.

He is under dogs needing homes north

Poor lad's been looking for a wee while now :(

He is back on page 1

I just copied and pasted your link into my address bar Susan and it's missing the 's' at the end :b hope you don't mind I've put a link in for anyone else who's looking (I'm not - HONEST!!!!)

He looks lovely! Doesn't like cats, though. But what a nice photo - such a smiley happy face.

He's been in kennels for TOO long :( I hope he finds a home soon.

I saw the notice at dogpages a while ago and e-mailed the rescue to suggest they try placing Blue through JR whippet rescue, though he is a cross, heavier than a pure whippet. for fuller details see http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.ph...7862&hl=whippet

and find his picture at

http://www.chesterfield-rspca.org.uk/pages...dex.php?pets=20

also of interest may be Baron,7 year old whippet-greyhound has raced well at nonpedigree whippet "no-limit" classes but recently had to have the tip of an injured toe amputated

he was a house dog until his human had a heart attack and couldn't care for his dogs any longer
