"Nudge" is a year old, white legs and neck and ~2/3 of tail; and symmetrical white blaze surrounded by blue on face, large blue markings on back (photo jpg attachment at the whippet forum, also at doglost, see bottom of message for link)
ran and was lost on MONDAY 24th OCT 2011 LAUGHTON COMMON, S25 DINNINGTON near ROTHERHAM and SHEFFIELD, South Yorkshire.
Yesterday the owner posted this information
"A person rang me to say that they had spotted 3 men in a WHITE FORD TRANSIT 120 VAN, Diesel, (small wheel base) picking Nudge up on Outgang Lane, Dinnington, on Monday dinnertime.
The men said that they were going to take her to Thornberry Animal Sanctuary but she was never handed in there.
The number plate of the van is : W393 PNH
Could everyone look out for this van please and let me know if they see it.
"P.S. I have contacted the police & it seems the van has an MOT but not registered to a name. I will ring them back tomorrow to see if they have more info."

I'm sure they would welcome posting on other relevant forums; I suggest on any forums that you advise anyone with info to contact the owners via Doglost & phone nos given at Doglost, to keep info centralised. Also keep a note of where you'e crossposted so you can go back to the site to let them know if/when Nudge is found.
