Hi guys.
I'm new and have recently received some bloodwork results for my 17 year old yorkie. Does anyone have experience reading these results as my vets is now closed.

How high is 'high' with the urea reading as I can't seam to convert mmol to Mg

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

I can't help with your question, but just wanted to say hello and welcome to the forum :) Hopefully someone will be able to help.

I'd add, you have already paid for the tests to be done so don't feel bad about scheduling some time with a vet or vet nurse when they open, to go over the results and ask exactly what they mean, how they will affect your dog, and what you should do now.

Welcome. I agree with all the previous comments - speak to your vet. I'd even call them out of hours (today/bank holiday tomorrow). My boy Jimmy has had lots of blood tests over the last year, the vet would usually call me with results and go into very technical language and I had to say just explain it in layman's terms please! More often than not though I had to chase up the results.

If you're at all concerned about your dog's health, call the vet. At worse they can only say they're closed until Tuesday (or whenever).
