Blocking Members

Im i mad or did i once see a way where you can block

members.......by block i mean that you can't see what

they have written on a forum and they can't pm you.

I've looked everywhere and can't find anything.

hi anne, in your pm's it says "Block" next to the name of who ever pm'd you. don't know if this is what you're looking for. i'm not sure if its just for blocking pm's from the person. :santa: xx

If you go to the Member's Profile and look at the top LH corner under the Member's Personal Photo you will see Options

Just click and select. It's on the top of the list.

mmm interesting one...

I've just clicked on My Controls and 7th down on the left hand side list is PM Block List...I've just clicked on mine...to discover a list of people that I'd added as 'Buddies' when I first started on here...so not very helpful...might be worth checking everyone elses...oh and Trac...can you try sending me a PM cos you were on that list :clown:

This only blocks pm's though!...I'd listen to young Schmickles :thumbsup:

It works.....its a ignore member button lol

Ann - go to the member's profile that you want to block. Click on options, then choose 'ignore user'. You will not get any pm's from them and you won't see their posts, however in place of their post you will see 'xxxx replied to this thread' or something like that, and the option to view the reply.

Most people give in to their curiosity once they know the person replied and view it anyway LOL.
