Well my lad had me up and out early today to try his new ferrets out, 1 did very well bolting 5 the other 1 seemed to be ok but failed to bolt anything.
We took Max (Parkstone Take A Chance) along and we took the lurcher now around 15 weeks but her role was only to watch from the lead and was allowed a sniff about when the ferrets were lifted so no chance of anything bolting as i dont like pups running before about 9 months depending on how mature they seem.
We ended the dat with 3 from 5 runs not a great haul but looking around the new permission theres plenty there for next weekend (weather permitting)
Kieren with the spoils (a very pleased boy)
A few of the Lurcher pup for pennymeadow jnr
A bit of retrieving training for the lurcher pup
He's now after lamping the golf course tonight?
