I think that this is the one that you posted to me about Dessie?

>Sandy beige Lurcher/greyhound/saluki bitch, 22" at shoulder, 3 yrs old, scar across front legs, microchipped, enlarged milk filled teats, went missing 7.30pm Friday 6th august from Cottage in Binfield Village.

This dog was a stray back in Oct 03. Unfortunately she has 3 week old pups.

The owner had been approached by a man twice before she was stolen. Plates don't match the van. (White Transit RV04 KZV)

I have passed the details on to friends that live in Binfield. They will keep an eye out for her.

Just passing a message on from friend in Binfield as he is away for a few days:

He has suggested that they check the travellers site that is close to Binfield Dog Rescue. He says that people from the site sometimes visit the dog rescue several times a day with an interest in the greyhounds and lurchers there.

I'll pass on your friends suggestions. Thanks.

They've already done that and nearly came off even worse!! This is a lone woman who has lost the dog with no male back-eup. I would not recommend ANYONE going into a travellers' camp looking for lost dogs.

Sorry Dessie

I meant for them to ask the police to go with them or something. I wouldn't go on my own either!

:D :p :D Wonderful, wonderful news. Lottie has been found on a road near Newbury and is now reunited with her owner. Bit dirty, smelly, skinny and flea-ridden :( but other than that all in one piece.

That is such good news that she has been found. Have the pups been getting on ok without her?

(I actually started to reply earlier to ask if there had been any news but then I stopped as I decided that if there was any news someone would already have posted it )

Pups were starting to be weaned when she disappeared so it turned into a 'crash' weaning! Bit of a shock to the systems at first but they soon were fine. They have started to go to their new homes. Will have more news after next Wednesday!
