I have asked this question in WHIPPET DOMAIN so will ask it in k9 too.

which straight track do you think is the best ??....... :p
 
after this weekends racing i would say newton aycliffe is a fab track. im hoping more opens will be held there :D
 
I have to agree with you there Michelle.......the track was in tip top condition... :p
 
:D YES NEWTON AYCLIFFE FOR THIS WEEKEND WAS TOP CLASS :cheers: FROM WHAT I CAN REMEMBER STOCKTON WAS ALWAYS A GREAT TRACK AND THE RISING SUN IS NOT BAD EITHER. ;)
 
I'd say Newton Aycliffe, but was impressed with Worcester the last time i was there (but not been for 18 months)

HAVE TO AGREE JOHN, NEWTON AYCLIFFE TRACK WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION,

ASLO THINK STOCKTON, KIRCALDY AND ASFORDBY ALL GOOD TRACKS. :p
 
the track and facilities were brilliant at newton aycliffe but its a little far up the country for me to travel just for day opens :p
 
Newton Aycliffe was first class this weekend.

Stockton/Wallsend never disappoint- Kirkcaldy always good and Dawdon is one of our favourites.

newton aycliffe is the best of all the tracks i've been to...........cos its the only track i've been to lol
 
ANOTHER BRILLIANT STRAIGHT TRACK IS THE COLLUMPTON TRACK, IT HAS FENCING DOWN BOTH SIDES OF THE TRACK SO DOGS THAT RUN WIDE RUN STRAIGHT LOL :p AND A SAND PIT FINISH AS WELL :D WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR......... o:)

First time we have been to newton aycliff and was very impressed with the track and the facilities were good.
 
newton aycliffe was top class at the weekend no complaints!!

but racers said that a few years ago about seaham and now look where that has gone!! lets hope we can be at aycliffe more often and have more top class opens there! mite even get a nwrf/bwra event there 1 day!
 
The more the merrier :D . This track can't be beeten. :cheers: We had agreat time and will be back again for the next English Derby :) :D :) :D
 
im sure there will be more next year than there was this year. opens like this brings the best outof the sport
 
yep it certainly was apart from i made a mistake with michellebelles mark in the vet final on the traps it ran off 18ft and it shud off being 28ft.
