I haven't been able to get onto K9 for the last week as I've been away on a training course for my new job .. and I still have another week to go

The course is being held in Ashby de la Zouch on the edge of Derbyshire, and I've been staying in a village called Kegworth just off the A42. Unfortunately I haven't had any free time to look around the local area but the hotel overlooks a view of the most massive industrial chimneys I have ever seen (w00t)

I expect lots of you will know where I mean, but I shall try to remember to take my camera next week and get a few piccies of the local area

Been quiet without you Jane :- " :huggles: :huggles:

Hope the course is going well :huggles:

We used to go to Ashby de la Zouch when we stayed over for Linton's open, when the club was there. There's a pub in the centre where you can look down through some glass, and there's a bear in the pit below the floor  It's stuffed of course  We have some happy memories of days in Ashby de la Zouch, but as the racing club is no longer there, we don't get to that neck of the woods anymore :(

I met your gorgeous boy last week at South Cots, as he was there with Pat. He was being very good she says :huggles:

Hope the course goes well

I think you will find that Heart of England ground is as close if not closer to Ashby de la zouch

Pat's doing a grand job with Irie :D He's fitting in so well with her boys now that I'm sure he won't want to come home to the three girls next week

I'm off back to Kegworth at 7 o'clock tonight .......... catch up with you all next week

I thought I'd not seen you about Jane.

I hope the course and everything is going ok :huggles:
