Remember this

well today it looks like this

If they don't look comfortable, its because they're not. They haven't sat up there together for months... I don't know why. We had to cheat and set them up :- "

We use to think Max was big

We were wrong

He might be tall, but he is an absolute darling of a dog. And smart...OMG

He is also a very well dressed dog.

OH thinks he is spoilt. I have no idea what he is talking about :* :- "

What I do know is that he loves us  This is the best part of the day.

He is never far behind Max :huggles:

Lovely pictures  and what a cute orange coat - it looks so snuggly and warm :)

Helen, I'm not suppose to tell anyone - so please keep this a secret okay- - but the otherside of the coat has ladybugs on it. I have been banned from taking him outside with the ladybugs showing.

I have ordered both Max and Beau two new coats each from Nancy's Creations. Think this might be what OH means when he says they are spoilt. :* :- "

They are gorgeous boys Tesa.  They do grow up sooooooooo quick :huggles:

He's a lovely boy for sure, doesn't it make you wonder what you did before you had whippets? I cant imagine my life without them now.

I think I know the lady who made Beaus coat. Did you get it at the whippet club fun day? A friend of mine here in Healesville makes 2 styles & one is shaped for a whippet, nice & curvy. All my crew have her coats & the boys ones have bugs & frogs on them. Very colourful & very cute. I've got the patterned side showing though. Too pretty to hide.

Lovely photos of your beautiful boys.

Yes I did get it at the fun day Linda. She had a beautiful aubergine one with purple faux fur (leopard spots) on it. Someone with a blue brindle bitch bought it. It looked fantastic. Great coats, very warm and easy to keep clean. This was the only one that fitted Beau. I love the bright colours on them anyway. Now I have used it as a pattern to make one for Max.

No we won't leave Max out. This is my favorite photo of Max. I have only posted it the one time on here in the photo competition. I love this photo, he just looks happy. Trotting along in the sunshine off the lead. He can't run like he use to, but he still has a bit of go left in him. Indulge me for a moment because he is my lovely old resuce, and we have had 12 years of  out of someone else's discarded trash. People often say that getting a pup will oftern revitalise an old dog. For us this has definitely been the case, and seeing him go into the twilight years of his life with resonably good health and such a spark has given us a lot of pleasure.
