bad owners

why is it that most whippet people say greyhound

men are bad owners,i think they are just as good with their dogs as most whippet people are,they spend as much time and effort in getting the best out of their dogs as whippet people do,some are bad,but some whippet people are too

Never heard that said about a group of owners before neil, as you say there is good and bad in every type of breed owners, just like in human life, there are good and bad in every race, and i think it is a mistake that we all make and listen far too much to the bad and do not emphasize the good points. This is the way of the world i am afraid neil,good reports do not sell newspapers. I know you to be a good owner of both of the breeds, even if one of them are Camels

well i must agree with john that you get good and bad owners that keep dogs in any breed.I think the point alot of people are trying to make about greyhound men is that if a greyhound has injure its self or has finished its racing career that they get rid of them and get a new one in to replace it.

we have all heard awful stories about the way some greyhounds lose there lives or are just dumped but if you go to your local cat and dog centers you will see or hear the same stories been told of mongrals .

Yes its a sad fact that there are bad owners in any breed , maybe the fact is made more aware with greyhounds as there are many different walks of life that keep them both  for racing and as pets, plus greyhounds seem to be the favourite breed for travellers . ??? say no more..
