Perhaps he's sleeping :- "

Then again perhaps it because he's saved as a .jpg file - which does not have the capability for animation. Animated images are usually either Flash or more simply gif files. Look at the image on your hdd and I think you'll find it's a gif - upload that as your avatar and Wolfie will wake...

Sadly none of the girls here are "interesting" right now, so I guess Wolfie will carry on sleeping (w00t) (w00t)

If I rightclick your present avatar and look at its properties I see the file is http://www.k9community.co.uk/forums/uploads/av-2351.jpg

Tha'ts definitely not a gif - it's a jpg file av-2351.jpg so it's never going to be animated.

Oh well that explains it!! Thanks for that  It is a gif on my computer so will just keep trying.

Just put the same pic as a personal photo and he moves (w00t) -weird.

My mum had this problem with hers, I uploaded it to an image server and linked it to there and it works fine, duno if that would help?

OK.

Right click the moving Beerhound attached image & look at its properties -

Right click the stationary Beerhound Avatar & look at its propeties -

Right click Wild Whippies moving Avatar & look at its properties -

The reason your Avatar doesn't move is because you've uploaded a jpg file - jpg files cannot be animated. You need to upload the GIF file as you avatar if you want to keep its animation.

While we are on the subject of avitars of the moving kind. Some time I have trouble scroling past the ones that are moving, especially that little penguin, is it me or are they all a bit like that?

That is really odd as I only have one image of him, have right-clicked myself with the same result!!

Not to worry he can stay still (wish the dog would in the ring!!)
