Perhaps he's sleeping :- "Beerhound said:My Wolfie used to move, any one know why? The OH designed him and animated and he still works when I check him on the computer HDD.
He is a gif file but still not moving, maybe your first idea is the problem :lol:Nigel said:Perhaps he's sleeping :- "Beerhound said:My Wolfie used to move, any one know why? The OH designed him and animated and he still works when I check him on the computer HDD.
Then again perhaps it because he's saved as a .jpg file - which does not have the capability for animation. Animated images are usually either Flash or more simply gif files. Look at the image on your hdd and I think you'll find it's a gif - upload that as your avatar and Wolfie will wake...
I am attempting to wake him again  .Juley said:Whos afraid of Beerhounds wolf? Not us if he's asleep. (w00t) BOO!
Ha ha ha, hee hee hee. Shall we poke him with a stick. (w00t) You can't catch us  . Chelsea, Poppy Daisy and Lily xxBeerhound said:Just tried to update a different picture, right size and a gif but Wolfie just comes back every time and he is still asleep. (w00t)

Sadly none of the girls here are "interesting" right now, so I guess Wolfie will carry on sleeping (w00t) (w00t)Beerhound said:Willing to try anything, must be a male wolf, very lazyJuley said:Ha ha ha, hee hee hee. If I rightclick your present avatar and look at its properties I see the file is http://www.k9community.co.uk/forums/uploads/av-2351.jpgBeerhound said:Just tried to update a different picture, right size and a gif but Wolfie just comes back every time and he is still asleep. (w00t)
Oh well that explains it!! Thanks for that  It is a gif on my computer so will just keep trying.Nigel said:If I rightclick your present avatar and look at its properties I see the file is http://www.k9community.co.uk/forums/uploads/av-2351.jpgBeerhound said:Just tried to update a different picture, right size and a gif but Wolfie just comes back every time and he is still asleep. Tha'ts definitely not a gif - it's a jpg file av-2351.jpg so it's never going to be animated.
Add it to a post & let's have a look...Beerhound said:Just put the same pic as a personal photo and he moves (w00t) -weird.
That is really odd as I only have one image of him, have right-clicked myself with the same result!!Nigel said:OK.
Right click the moving Beerhound attached image & look at its properties -

Right click the stationary Beerhound Avatar & look at its propeties -

Right click Wild Whippies moving Avatar & look at its properties -

The reason your Avatar doesn't move is because you've uploaded a jpg file - jpg files cannot be animated. You need to upload the GIF file as you avatar if you want to keep its animation.
