Boys back at the vet for 2nd jabs,,Gizmo was ment to get his kennel cough,,but needs another 2 weeks of tablets for his bum,,not cleared up yet,,but it does not bother him now. 2weeks ago the bill was well over £100,,we thought as they were getting the same jabs,,the bill would be the same,,well around the 100 mark. It was just under £27,,I said are you sure as it sounds very cheep,,not the normal huge bill,,yep is was just under £27,,,wow the doggy fund still have loads of money for them,,we put money away each week for vet bills,,doggy stuff,,Giz is back in 2 weeks,,for his kennel cough,,hope his bum is fine then too,,or he might need an op,,there goes the doggy fund :teehee:

Need to remember to get drontal plus as they need wormed in 2 months time,,pets at home were not cheep to buy them,,bought them there in december,,never again,,or send John to the dog track,,they about 50p cheeper there lol

I can never work out how the vets calculate their billing system, I think you pay extra for the initial consultation then ongoing treatment you pay less? That said, my mum has a cat with a kidney problem, they recommended a special food for him, and she gets charged something different each time!!

I get my wormers from canine chemist it is cheaper than you can buy them at the vets or p@h I paid £37 for 24. My last lot I got from crufts and got 24 plus 4 free for £36.

I buy my wormers online and sometimes the Frontline too.... cheaper than the vets
