Askern Open

Just wondered if a few of you might be interested to know that Askern are holding an open on the 21st December. I have not been given format details as of yet but as soon as I know you will know ... oh also the possibility of added prize money just in case a few of you need the incentive lol

Hiya

It was talked about that the format would be in 3lb weight classes i.e 18lb, 21lb, 24lb, 27lb, 30lb, and 33lb, then 36lb scr, 40lb scr and no limit.

possibility of first and second thru.

Run to a light weight and heavy weight final.

Then 2 light weight and 2 heavy weights run to a 4 dog final.

This is just what was talked about on thursday, but will have to wait for confirmation.

I couldn't stat after racing as Mum had to rush off to work. I'll talk to Fran and Bert today and see if they have any more details for us. It sounds like a good format to me though.

Not that Kerri will be much use, bloody dog, picks her moments for a season doesn't she, for saying that though, the way she blobbed into it I hope she runs better coming out !!!
