speaking to a friend down england whos dog is now starting to suffer a wee bit from arthritis in the legs, so just wondering what you lot use to help the dogs the dog is not a worker but always came for a wander with me and me two lurchers. kind regards.

Hi we used Glucosamine or R&A codliver oil for our old dog :thumbsup:

There's a liquid Devils Claw you can buy for horses,i've used it when my dogs have had injurys in the past,just a couple of ml morning and night in there feed and works a treat.Even know somebody who uses it for back pain and gives it the thumbs up.Gave my bottle to somebody who's old goat suffers with arthritus,and it's working.It's about £20 a bottle but lasts a long while. :thumbsup:

Dorwest and Hilton are seperate companies but both have quality products and are very helpful with advice. When i spoke to Hilton Herbs about a supplement for joints for an older dog both the products they recommended had Devils claw in them, I have used this for myself in the past with great effect (it was a product for horses that i used after consulting the company rep!!)

hi got mine on flex sprinkle , this has green lipped mussel, + other bits , my dog is 7 years old and is back sound.

My 18 year old lurcher got a little ricketty behind , I put her on Green Lipped Mussel extract and within a week she was back to running up and down the stairs and jumping into the back of my car. Also, a dog with arthriticy changes to her pelvis and stifles is now 100% sound after being on GLM . I have found this to work better for them both than the Glucosamine and Chondroitin they had previously been on.

hi froggy nice to see you also had good results with the lipped mussel , the bitch above is a gsd and she was that lame i had her on daily Loxcom , which worried me, i am happy to say that i now have been able to continue to show her .
