Bluebell is tooo - covered in scabs! - nice!! I think it's just cos she's bonkers and has little fur to protect her
i have to now take a min, to insist on photos of this pup,
photos are a must
their is not an hour goes by inside or outside that one of mine gets a cut, bump, or nik from somthing, ears are the worst about a week after them coming home one cut her ear and it was a blood bath. i was in such a flap till i came on here and found out its usual lol

Four of the five whippets I've ever had used to get bumps and scratches regularly just from the branches etc. in the woods where they ran about.
But one never had a mark on her!! :blink:
Until one day she ran into a tree and came back with a large scratch down her nose. It healed well but unfortunately the hair didn't grow back and she has a black scar.... but she still never gets any other scratches!

Blue often gets wee grazes on his legs from skidding to a stop when he's chasing his ball!

Both of mine have regularly got wee scrapes and nicks on them - it comes with the territory when you live life at either 200mph or full-stop (with nothing in between)
However, when I have seen things that have made me want to cover my eyes - they've emerged completely unscathed!
Bloggs once hit a hedge at full-speed chasing a rabbit. The noise was heart stopping, as branches snapped with the impact. I was thinking stitch-up job for sure (if i was lucky!). Bloggs came out without a mark on him.........and with the rabbit in his mouth!
