Hello, all not been on for abit are poor old harry has been in and out of the vets for the past 2weeks having blood tests and found out that he had pancreatitis, so has been on a drip and now found out that there`s something wrong with his kidney, the poor lad, he has lost alot of weight vet said try and feed him up but he wont eat we`ve gave him everything we can think of but just wont eat we dont know what to do any idea`s, he`s back at the vets this saturday..

Oh dear, poor Harry, it can be a nasty and painful condition. You've probably had the low down from your vet but 'Vet on the Web', key in pancreatitis, is quite informative. Good luck :luck:

Had to take Harry back to vets tonight, its now his kidneys . Vet is keeping him in for 3-4 days putting him on a drip to flush his kidneys and drip feed him. We should know the outcome in 3-4 days fingers crossed . Vet said he is going to throw everything at him to give him a chance.

sorry not been able to get onto k9, but on the 12th dec At 7.20pm we had our great dog harry p.t.s. his kidneys were not working,so it was the best thing for our man..

Run free Harry. x

Have only just seen your post and am so sorry that it wasn't a happier outcome. Run free, Harry.

So sorry that you have lost your dear Harry :( Run free :huggles:

So sorry to hear about your loss. Pancreatitis is very painful for them, so perhaps best not to have to live with it for too long. My old collie died of it. Run free lovely boy.
