Anybody Had Experience With Ocd

he suspects that my dog has OCD (Osteochrondritis Dissecans). Just wondered if anybody's dog had experienced this and if it ended happily.

We've been prescribed with some anti-inflammtory pills and exercise restriction for two weeks, if nothing improves then its time for x-rays e.t.c. and probably surgery, which needs to be done before his growth rate slows down.

I'm worried sick, so any advice /reassurance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I believe that in young animals this condition often just goes away. It can be a result of injury to the joint. Hope that will ne the case with your dog :luck: :luck: :luck:

I read that earlier, but more often than not it has to be corrected with surgery. It seems to be getting worse.
