Quick reminder that the closing date for our Springtime Open is fast approaching. The closing date is just over a week away on Wednesday 11th May. The details are as follows:
ANDOVER & DISTRICT WHIPPET RACING CLUB
The Springtime Open
Sunday 22nd May 2016, at ‘Weyhill Fair’, Nr Andover
Elite and Maiden racing: 150 yards @1/2 yard/lb
Veterans: 150 yards @1/2 yard/lb and yard/year
Main Groups: 14-19lb, 20-22lb, 23-25lb, 26-28lb, 29-32lb
Maiden Groups: 14-20lb, 21-24lb, 25-28lb, 29-32lb
Veteran Groups: (6-9yrs), 14-21lb, 22-25lb, 26-32lb
Each group to run a main and consolation final. Supreme finals in all groups.
Elite and Veteran groups eligible for Whippet News Top Ten and NPWRA points.
Open run under Andover club rules. NPWRA passport required.
Entry fee £6 each for the first 2 dogs, £5 each for next two, any others free.
One free programme per entry form. Extra programmes £1.00.
Weigh-in up to 11.30am. First race at 12 noon.
