An additional missing dog forum?

When thinking about starting a forum to highlight the problem of dogs being stolen I decided that because this message board is mainly used by sighthound owners that I'd restrict the forum to running dogs only. I felt that by doing so more people would take a look at the dogs information. I wanted to keep the information relevant.

Which doesn't mean that us sighthound owners aren't caring about other types of dog just that we only have so much time to read the board.

However obviously there are a great many other types of dog that go missing or are stolen. So I'm asking the board members to say whether they would like a seperate forum where the missing and stolen other types of dogs can be posted. I can assure you that there are a lot more of these than get posted on the missing running dogs forum. There would be about twice as many posts.

From a personal point of view what I wouldn't like to happen is that people who presently read about the missing running dogs would get overwhelmed and stop reading both forums.

I've already spoken to Nigel and Judy about this. What I'd like now is to know what you all think.

So your voting offer is specifically for a SEPARATE forum for other breeds is it?

And the gazehounds would still have a forum dedicated solely to them ??

You're correct.

I'm proposing a separate forum for people to post about other types of missing dogs.
