it cost me a fortune to go on the course , went to god manchester animal shelter ... they kept bringing out the lurchers , little dogs for us to practise on , i kept asking for the big dogs (w00t)

everyone thought i was nuts to volunteer to do a rotty !!

i was the only one not to get snapped at or to stick myself with the needle

well worth it though . have chipped lots of dogs now

hated doing mine but i was buggerd if i was going to pay £25 when i could do it for the cost of a chip at £5.25 (w00t)

She didnt make a sound when she had her injection. o:)

A small whimper when she had the micro chip and a look which said 'get me out of here NOW!!!! '

She slept the rest of the day and woke up just when i was of to bed :( ....play time i think not :- "

I don't recall a problem with microchipping ours, other than the ultra-tactful Aussie vet who said 'it's really useful for this kind of dog, you know if he ever runs off and gets killed at least there's a better chance of finding out what happened'. Cheers mate  . Yet another advantage of seeing a proper greyhound vet is they don't say things like this!
