Hello, thought you might like to se this pic of Alfie 'in' my Italian Greyhounds bed! I'm convinced he thinks his body finished behind his ears. Please ignore the sores on him, he's been in council kennels for 4 weeks, obviously been in a dog fight, and been chewing himself red raw. Me and a friend could not bear it anymore, so between us we're getting him sorted, Yvette Alfie_in_red_bed_resized.jpg

Alfie looks lovely  Good on you for getting him out of the kennels

Looking forward to more pics as you get him sorted :)

yes - no wonder they all end up in our beds

Alfie looks lovely - well done for getting him out and good luck in finding him a lovely home - or are you keeping him yourself ? He'll need a bigger bed ofcourse :- "

ah, how sweet!

 yup, our whippet does that with the cat basket - he's jealous that she might have the better sleeping place. Meanwhile she's sleeping in his bed, on top of his fleece and doggy duvet  i think the cat gets the better deal

Looks a very handsome chap :luck:

The joke(?) of it is, most of my lounge floor is covered in doggy duvets! But they're obviousley not good enough for Alfie  He doesn't seem to ever go uncomfy though. I shouldn't keep him really as I have quite enough here for the minute, but..................... he is sooooooooooooooo handsome :- " :- " :- "

Yvette he is lovely, look at that face

   Yep, he sure is a handsome chap - someone out there must have had him as a house pet at one time, he's just toooooooo good to be the first time inside. :- " :D He's as gentle a big dog I have ever owned, the Italian hangs off his chin and he just accepts her as an irritation!! Between my friend and I , he will never be down on his luck again. Mind you, he may not see it that way next week as he's being neutered( ). He has Irsish tattoo numbers so I'm hoping to trace his details soon. He's put on weight in the 2 weeks he's been out of kennels, and is now leaving his wounds alone so they are healing nicely. Will let you know how he gets on, Yvette

I met Alfie today when i dropped meg off - he's even lovelier than in the photos. He's so orange! the markings on his back are just like a tiger (w00t) and he's just soooo friendly!

Good luck getting better Alfie :luck:
