Thats a smashing shot Elizabeth  - whos dogs are they.?

Excellent photos! The dogs look stunning racing along there with their flowy coats :b

These are brilliant photos...of such beautiful dogs.

Love to see dog's like Afghan's run. Remember I used to see them being preened and groomed at shows for hours (and I do mean hours), and ponder what they'd rather be doing???

Guess they are all different, but my money would be on them doing exactly as these are captured doing here.

There's a thing, of all the wonderful combinations of that melting pot that encompasses lurchers and longdogs, I can never recall much Afghan being mentioned in any crosses known (well as much as the provenance of any mixed breed ever is!) or guessed at. Perhaps that is just peculiar to the area's I have lived in and/or "fashion" in breeding. Or is there any other reason?

Escaping from the car, joining in with another pair of dogs, catching the lure before them and then breaking the line  Great fun :clown:

Lurchers are generally bred for practical reasons and to improve on a breeds abilities etc ie. a better coat, better obedience, more stamina etc etc so i cannot imagine why anyone would want to breed Lurchers from Afghans unless it was purely to create stunning looking dogs with amazing coats, but probably won't come back when called!!!! Saukis certainly offer more than Afghans would do... :teehee:

Fantastic action shots though, i used to go out with a mad keen cyclist who grew his hair long as he loved to feel the wind blow through his hair 8) 8) i wonder if Afghans feel the same way!!!!!????

Yup, see your point, mind you I was hoping for some deep mystical reasoning behind this...

...Although you have made me ponder if I should catch up with my ex-boyfriend to find out if his shaved head was aerodynamically of assistance, when I was helping him out the door! :- "
