One of my whip`s who is a bad feeder goes off and on his food, so his weight goes up and down.But just inthe last day or so he is cleaning himslef a lot and his urine has a strong smell any advise on what it could be ? bye boyce

Could very well be a urinary infection - definitely one for the vet - and if you can take along a urine sample in a sterile pot, that would help the vet a lot. :thumbsup:

As Beth said go to the vets ......It's probably a simple urine tract infection but with the lack of appetite and weight loss and gain over a long period, you could be looking at kidney problems :luck: :luck: Hannah.
