Pippywhippets has just informed me that her Billy was bitten by an adder today (the lost church Perranporth) so they are about, be very careful now the weathers warming up,.

Billy's had the anti venom but he's still on a drip in the vets for the next 48 hours, his face is swollen double and not a pretty sight, :( i hope he makes a full recovery Paula. ;) the dogs send their love, especially Leia and Maggie they know what it's like. :( di x

Oh No thats not good - i hope he will be ok and make a full recovery  bless him

Just heard that Billy is out of the vets and the swelling is going down, ;) lets hope he's on the mend now....poor Billy. di

:luck: :luck: :luck: Hope Billy is on the mend,Saw Pippywhippets walking over there when I was ferretting there last thursday.

If adders are in your area then it is advisavle to have some piriton with you...as it delays/reduces reaction til get to vet. They nicely fit into a barrel tag which you can put on your dog's collar :))

Regards
