Aberdeen Whippets

Hi

are there are Aberdeen owners out there.

We are based in Woodside near Stewart Park and i am just wondering where everyone walks there dogs and more interested in where you walk them where they can get off the lead without worrying about them running on road or getting hurt.

I cant think of any really enclosed parks or fields near me.

Anyone any ideas?

I dont stay in Aberdeen but my advice if you are in Aberdeen and are at all anywhere near a busy road i would just NOT let my dog off the lead - it seems a shame but id rather take them on a long walk on the lead, just incase! If you want to let them off the lead the only place i can think of is Balmedie beach?? Its away from a busy road (i think).

I don't live in Aberdeen but at one point we were thinking of moving there and went to have a look. I must agree with Balmedie beach, we decided that if we did move there that would be the place where we lived. I seem to remember it being quite a walk from any roads but not enclosed as such.
