We spent last week in Whitby, I love it up there, we've been a few times now. The weather was ok most of the time, very windy one night, I thought the caravan was going to blow over & it was chained to the ground...scary (w00t)

We walked miles, the dogs were shattered every night. Bliss :- "

The site was at Saltwick Bay & we could get straight on to the beach

I love Whitby too - did you go to that fantastic fish n chip restaurant with the Fifties tables and downstairsy bit? Best fish n chips EVER there!

Rafferty loves the beach, he gets the sand between his toes & goes all silly

:( We did go into a chippy & got a take out to eat on the seafront, but I don't know if it was that one. Nice fish & chips tho.

One one of our walks we went from Goathland (Aidenfield in Heartbeat) to Beck Hole, a tiny village a mile or so along the river. We went through a field & were followed by this lot. They herded us along right up to the gate  Talk about sheep worrying, the dogs were getting a bit nervous

Rafferty  I like Whitby although only been a couple of times for sporting events. Looks as though you all had a lovely time.. quite and interested flock of sheep there
