A Morning In The Garden Center

Had a request from a local garden center to get rid of rabbits that are eating his young plants, he recons he lost an order last week worth £1000 that he'd got ready for collection the morning after and came in to find them nearly all eaten.

well these wont be doing it again, not bad for an hours work.

Mark, MOH just walked by the computer and on seeing that your dog had been involved in doing what comes naturally he said and I quote "Bloody good show, should be more of it".

He was just back from a quail hunting trip this morning over some GSP's.

He strongly belives in working dogs regarless of breed.

it was throwing it down with rain most of the morning but my lad (in the picture) and the dog/ferrets all had a good day and as we speak the ferrets are enjoying the spoils of their work.

Don't you eat the bunnies yourself.

We used to eat the ones MOH hunted over our vizslas.

yep we eat them as well.

but the ferrets always get a good feed from them after a days work.

Our local garden center had a Robin problem so they shot them .....it didn't go down well and people started a petition :blink:

Not bad for one morning .......so it's up to your's for Tea then :thumbsup:

he was a bit miffed that we only got 5 and asked when i'd be back? but he was a little concerned as he keeps ornamentle chickens/ducks at the back and didn't want the dog/ferrets getting at them?

Greeny knowing you the pics will be on with pups & rabbits by 8 week old, have you not told the new owners they come wormed, dew clawed, and hunting day/night.

yep Scott all hers, she missed quiet a few but considering the bloody plants were everyware in the way, looks like she's found her calling.

hi mark , he dislocated arear toe 3 weeks ago & its still not right , its poped out about 3 times since as he just climbes onto a chair or something & its still got fluid around it , it doesnt feel right , hes booked in at agreyhound vet this friday, as the normal vet hes been to keeps on about amputation , so il see what happens on frriday

ask the new vet about having it lazered, that would/should tighten the tendons up and help hold it in place.

if you've got a physio local they would probably have a lazer to do it.

cheers mark ,il ask about it , this the first time ive come across injurys so its a bit of a learning curve, the actual joint feels damaged like a slight crack in it but it might be my imagination getting carried away.
