Had to take my mum and dad back down to Cardiff last weekend so my brother suggested we went off the the Brecon Beacons with our cameras for the day. :) Here's a few photos although it was a bit misty for decent landscapes. :(

You can see which direction the prevailing wind comes from!

Had a go at 'freezing' the waterfall.

Back at my parent's house and this mist suddenly appeared on the school field at the back of the garden - the photo hasn't really done it justice - it looked really good.

This was a useless photo of a spider's web, so I had a fiddle on Photoshop and came up with this which I quite like. :)

Distinct lack of whippets in those shots :- "

lovely pictures though, especially the watery ones

Love the Brecon Beacons, had pony treking holidays there. The trees remind me of Cornwall, they are all leaping away from the prevailing wind down here too.

From Derbyshire to the Beacons, I think the Beacons are just a tad higher than the peak district.

Have walked over Kinder Scout, and Castleton to Edale in my youth, beautiful country.

you got some lovely scenery there, especially like the mist over the field one

I was discussing that with my brother as well. Pen Y Fan is 2907 ft and Kinder Scout is 2088. The top two peaks in the Beacons are the highest in Southern Britain.

Whippets were left at home Clair! And Richard left the stair gate open during his very busy Sunday morning and came home to find one sheet ripped and one electric blanket destroyed, plus saucepans on the floor in the kitchen (he obviously didn't wash up the night before :- " ) and I think there were also things he's not telling me about! (w00t)

What great pictures, the waterfall one is stunning

Sounds like Muffin and Jonah had a good time :- "
