A Buddy For Rambo?

We want to get a brother for our 1yr old whippet Rambo, ideally we want another Whippet (up to 6 mths or so) but have been thinking that a whippet / greyhound X or whippet X would be great as there are loads that need a good loving home.

Our concern is that with Rambo being a skinny little bugger, will the above dogs be rough with him, I know our friends Saluki/greyhound is too heavy handed for him.

Any advice would be greatly apreciated as we're in a position to adopt/buy him a companion.

If you get a puppy or at least of an age smaller than Rambo, he can show the newbie who is boss from day one. I got Buffy when Willow was a year old and it is the best thing I ever did as they are such good company for each other. As for crosses, I saw an adorable skinny Beddy/whippet today. I think I need one! Good luck on your search.

Have you tried Scruples Whippet Rescue. They have whippets of all ages nd will advise you on which dog would suit you and your current whippet best.

I will be having Hector on Bank Holiday Monday to go with my whippet,Ash, who I have had from a pup.

Will my house survive 2 crazy whippets, only time will tell!
