Have noticed a 3 year old whippet bitch for sale on the Epupz website - she looks a lovely girl - description is:-

whippet bitch 3 years old, pedigree no papers, micro chipped, very clean exceptional with children and other dogs and cats, sale due to son loseing intreast, to very good home very quiet,loves her walks.

Based in Yorkshire - £100. Sad to see she is looking for a new home.

I spoke to her owner last night & she seems very concerned that she should go to the right home.

Someone is going to see her on Friday,but i shall ring back & check if they've taken her!

sorry, but i've got to agree with Stormydog on this one. why do people buy dogs for their kids???? :rant: it's like they are toys, kids will never learn to respect and be responsible for their pets if the parents just rehome them when the kid is fed up.

So it's the parent's that are to blame. Children are children - parents shouldnt expect them to be responsible - that's what parents are supposed to do. They should have thought about it properly. Pleased to hear that she is concerned that she gets a good home - they owe her that. Someone else might have had that dog from a puppy and kept her whole life.

maybe the son was old enough to get the dog himself and is just a stupid irresponsible adult?

and maybe mum is just trying to do the right thing by the poor little dog?

I wonder if they have been in touch with who bred her ? I always worry when I see this sort of ad , hoping its not one of mine :luck:

You do hope you have chosen the right home for your pups but things do change in peoples lives im afraid .
