had for 5 years on the rescue sheet he's a patendale but he is to big to be pure, he slowing down a bit, joint problems won't play any more still goes' out twice a day 30mins in the morning and 15mins in the afternoon, sleeps a lot

Hi and welcome. Sounds like your Patterdale doing well for his age and condition....slowing down comes to us all..eventually

Hello and welcome. Rescue staff in my experience aren't great at identifying breeds or mixes, so you are very likely right in your estimation. Old dogs slowing down are still wonderful companions, as I'm sure yours is.

yea still going quite strong, dose not run about but can get a decent trot, but wife in hospital so he is not happy.
