Yes, unfortuantely all of our visitors get bumped around in the hallway with 3 dogs all trying to get close enough for fusses, and at least one person will get a tail whip from Bella. Strangers don't get this welcome though :-

I attach a torch to Alice's lead because we have to walk down a single country lane that has a silly national speed limit - as they do - to get to our country park and cars come round the corners far too fast so it's just for safety at night so they can see us. Very boring! lol

I am so fed up with the rain :( My dogs love to bury their bones - which is fine as the garden is theirs - but the rain makes them so muddy! We are definitely finishing our garden project this spring - no excuses this year haha - artificial grass all the way.

Well, I used to too, but they got so excited they would bark, whether they were in the garden or in the house so to stop this, I would ignore them until they were quiet and calm, then reward their good behaviour with fusses. I have 2 great danes and a cocker so 2 big excited dogs bounding...

I love Bedlington Terriers. I have some who are regulars for grooming and they are fab, really enjoyable to trim.

Those hours seem fine. Realistacilly, if you couldn't leave them alone for those periods, the only people who could own dogs are those who are retired or on benefits etc. When he is a bit older, I would get another dog for some company. He will most likely sleep the most of the time he is left...
