Well, luckily he has had a little food this morning and he is moving around a lot more and lifting his head up and waggong his tail. I'm so happy! Still recovering but he's on the way up!
Hello, it's been quite a while since I was last on here!
Unfortuantly my 11 year old Milo is not doing too well, he didn't eat any food on thursday and when we got up on Friday you could tell something wasn't right. He wouldn't get up and when he did he was staggering and panting. Took him to...
Glad to hear you're OK. Hope things are improving up there although tomorrow's forecast doesn't look too brilliant agian :- ( We ahd a lovley holiday in that area a while ago so it all looks very familiar on the TV. No, definitely not whippet weather!!!
Hi, just thought I'd pop in to say I hope you're all OK with all these floods - you're in the Cockermouth area aren't you? It looks horrendous up there and I hope you're not caught up in it xxx
A couple of months ago I queried on here about recurrent Bronchitis in my dog Milo. I decided to take him to a different vet yesterday after it returned for the 3rd time this year alone, and was sick of my vet just giving a course of antibiotics. Today they xrayed his chest and flushed a sample...
I have such a lot of sympathy for you. I have lived in a flat for 10months and finally moved into a house back in my home town. We suffered quite a lot from a neighbour, thankfully not about our dogs, who complained constantly about our parking, pram and leaving the door on the latch to hang out...
RE: whippets and the down command
when Milo was a young dog he was taken to training classes, where after a number of commands were mastered we moved on to the harder stuff- Send away and Down. To do this the teacher stood at one end of the hall with a treat, the theory was that I'd send Milo...
All very good reading, at the moment I don't bother with breakfast anymore and am putting his dinner down later. I've been out and brought some fresh meat which I'm going to mix with his dry food tonight (so he doesn't get the runs! :x ).
I had thought about a DAP, but have read so many...
I know both my boys loath our new home. 1st floor with no garden but unfortuantly with the area we live its all we could afford rentwise and the landlord was really nice about the dogs. These poor boys were used to a house, gardens and wood across the road, so were pretty disappointed with the...
I've read snippets of other peoples fussy eaters and always been glad that my two haven't been like that. Anyhow since moving into 1st floor flat back in march Riley has become very, very fussy. He wont eat breakfast anymore (used to have weetabix, tried shreddies and some others which the first...
I love your boys! Lovely shots, they really suit the autum colours. How do you manage getting them to look so healthy, their coats are so glossy. I seem to have a fat heffalump and a skinny minny at the moment, they put mine to shame!
I love your girls and Zana is just adorable! My boys don'treally cuddle that often (Riley always tries but Milo isn't as keen) They all look scrummy cuddled up.
They had a blast, the beach was one at Padstow (st. Georges bay?). I love how excited they get. It's a lovely area we stay in when we go- just off bodmin moor, we hated coming back even though we come back to a part of the country thats just as nice!
Got back from a week in Cornwall. My camera wasn't in the mood to work for most of the trip so hardly got any snaps. I Think I need a new one with christmas coming up and all! So here are two snaps and hopefully a quick video but it's my first time posting a vid so fingers crossed!!!
This...
What odd ways of playing do your dogs do? Was wondering as Milo and Riley have a fun game. It involves trying to bite the others neck/front legs whilst trying to keep front legs away from the opponant. They end up with their bums in the air, squirming around on their shoulder/chest with thier...
Milo is really not himself. He won't get up and has to more or less be carried out to go toilet- and he won;t even do that properly, he wouldn't poo till 6pm yesterday. He has me worried :(
