Returned by people who claimed to have bought the dog in good faith for a very large sum from someone who claimed to have had her since a pup - but of course they couldn't return her without being fully reimbursed
Police are involved and let's hope the guilty parties get everything...
To anyone in the Cambridge area. This dog went missing at about 5pm from the family back yard. If you are, or know of someone, in that general vicinity please keep your eyes open. Her name is Gigi.

Hi Jen :))
I'm hoping to come on Sunday to see what happens - I have a bit of a tight work schedule, but we'll see.... At the moment I can't imagine him not trying to play with another dog - whether the other dog wants to play or not  - so he definitely needs to learn about the lure...
Thanks folks - looks like they'll have to find themselves a new hobby - either that or I won't let them indoors again until they've returned one pellet for every shot fired.
One of hubby and son's hobbies is shooting their air rifle and air pistol down the garden. One of Jasper's hobbies is eating anything and everything he can find in the garden.
Hubby is going to create a backstop so most of the lead pellets can be collected - and it goes without saying they will...
Thanks for your advice everyone - I shall take it  Tom, I like your comment that it's better for the dog to be able to run in old age rather than be pushed as a puppy and risk the health of the joints.
I've also realised that what I thought was puppy racing was actually the showing...
I am hoping to take Jasper to Dorset Lurcher Racing at Shaftesbury next month, when he will have just turned 6 months. Hubby is concerned that he's too young to race (he's going to be big so is a fast grower) but as there is a puppy class specifically for 6-12 month olds can I assume that he'll...
I've just found this timetable http://www.country-show.co.uk/attraction/lurcher-show/52.php - but it suggests the same events happen on each day, is that right? So you end up with two 'Best of shows', for example?
Does anyone know which day the various lurcher events take place at the Hampshire County Fair? I've had a look on the website and can't find any timetables. I can go either day, but can't justify going on both.
Yep, I'm sure that's true - though being such a big pup he has also left some nasty marks on my upper arms which at least helps with the volume of my 'NO!!!!!!' The only time he played up on our weekend away - when everyone commented on how good and gentle he was - was shortly after my cousin's...
I wondered about that TTT - but as my OH pointed out, the dogs at intermediates are likely to be quieter than another intake of novices, and it may be that learning new things will keep him more focused than another 'term' of sit, down, stand, sit, wait, stand, ad infinitum. If he flips and...
For me, showing isn't a priority at all - Jasper is 'just' a pet and showing would just be a hobby. As they say, 'andsome is as 'andsome does'. It's much more important to me that he isn't responsible for a litter of unwanted pups and I don't want to spend all our walks worrying about what his...
Thank you! He sometimes 'loves' that octopus in a way quite inappropriate for a boy of his age....
I just tried him at a new puppy class, thinking it may be a bit more relaxed than the training class. Had to drag him off the sofa as he'd just settled down for a lengthy snooze, but when...
Thank you!
Of course at the moment as long as the shoulders are somewhere above the front legs I wouldn't know how to tell good shoulder placement from bad, but it really doesn't matter - as you say, I'll always take the best dog home.
