Hi Scott, I wouldn't even know how to start lure coursing - I know nothing about it but we used to have a non-pedigree Whippet that we used to race & she loved it.  I would like to set up  Pedigree Whippet Racing here in the Northeast.  I'm sure a lot of folks would be interested.

Please does anyone know of any racing in Newcastle upon Tyne.  Although my Whippet is Pedigree I understand there is no Pedigree racing near here.  Would she be able to race against non-pedigrees?  Also she is 2 years old & has never raced but is a chaser.

Hi Mark, Thanks for the info but I feel it is a bit too far away. Would it be silly to race my Whippet against non-pedigree Whippets? She is nearly 3 now but is a chaser. Also the greyhound I have is 5 months old.  Are there similar racing clubs for him? thanks.
