Little Dumpledale is fairly near beaches, someone posted pics on dogpages of their dogs running on the beach whilst staying there. Hazelgrove Cottage (Wilderness Cottages) is on the shores of Loch Ness - we are staying there in May. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cheers Claire will delve a little...

Some good info above and we will be checking it out, just wondered if anybody could personally recommend somewhere similar to the above (littledumpledale) but very close to the coast and beach. Whippets and beach.....you understand!!

Funny you should ask, he's currently thinking of getting a pup. His dog blue out of sooty sam stands 23" (w00t) it really is a beast. I think seeing Oscar is making him broody.

Slightly off subject, you mention books being dated. For anybody interested Mary Lowe's English Whippet is re-printed for the 3rd time and on sale from today.

As a new member to k9 I'd just like to say what a tremendous site this is. The reason Im adding this post is to say I've just spent the last hour and half on this particular thread (all 42 pages) and it was like reading a book, a good one at that. The pictures, and watching certian pups grow...
