Even if it has gone from the original topic to measuring tails!! Not sure what else anyone wants me to post. For obvious reasons the name of the show and judge cannot be relvealed. I do not want a lawsuit.
At a Ch show this year an exhibitor put their fawn Whippet on the table only to be told by the judge that the dog was a non-standard colour for the breed.
I wonder when this judge last read the Whippet breed standard if they ever have?
I did hear that the judge didn't even go over one new dog in the R/C class. Does anyone know if this is true and if it is did the owner put in a complaint?
Aplogies if this information is not correct.
Thank you for your replies. :D I thought the rules about the RCC changed when the KC made the rule about handing back the CC & RCC straight away after they were awarded :b .
I know that but was wondering if it was a KC rule that the judge HAD to call in the second placed dog to challenge the other class winners for the RCC.
Is it now a KC rule to call in the 2nd in the class to the CC winner at Ch shows? Or is it just courtesy? I thought that the rule changed to say they had to be called in but I can't find it in the red book.
It wouldn't surprise me as the KC do seem more interested in making money from the public and tradestands than they do about the exhibitors. The public have got discover dogs to see dogs they do not and should not be around the benches.
Try ringing the KC and asking them.
My Avater vanished but I have uploaded it again now!!! Maybe he went to refill his water bowl as he is spilling most of it. Maybe I will have to have a word with his designer and animater and get them to make him spill less!!!!
Who is doing Dogs and Bitches at Northen Counties WC? The list on K9 says the opposite to that in the Whippet Calendar. I hope K9 is right!
Also the dates for NWA are different, the list on K( says it is on May 2nd, this is the Whippet Club. NWA according to the calendar is June 5th.
Daren't...
