Any need to add things to a puppy's diet ?

Following on from JudyN's advice on puppy food being balanced already, which made sense - is there any point in supplementing my 4 month old's diet with anything in addition to her dry puppy food ? She seems quite happy with it, and of course she gets a variety of treats like small bits of...

Feed before or after walks ?

I don't have time for that in the morning unfortunately. I get up at 7am to play with her in the garden and let her empty out, them walk her for 15 mins then feed her. That gives me 25 mins to get ready for work, when my wife looks after her.

    Puppy mouthing and chewing

We tried the "OUCH" thing with our two month old that chewed on us when she got excited and it seemed to work really well. They don't want to hurt you and as soon they realise that's what's happening they seem to stop.

Feed before or after walks ?

I'm sure this must have been asked before but I can't find it. I only walk our 3 month old puppy about 15 mins each time anf of like to feed her at around the same time. Is it best to feed her before or after her walls ? She's a cockerpoo so not a large type.

    11-week old cockapoo puppy

We've just got our first ever puppy (although I always had dogs as a child) and she is a wonderful addition to the family so far. She is just having her second jabs today, so we'll be able to take her out in a week's time, but she's been having a great time in the garden so far. Everything is...

    Sleeping with new puppy

I guess it's whatever suits the individual. I want to keep the upstairs a dog-free area, so our new puppy is only allowed downstairs. We got her at nine weeks, in September, and put her straight into a crate in the dining room overnight. She cried for a couple of hours the first two nights...
