Makes me giggle. When I was new to the rescue galgo and ex-racing grey as pet hounds world my first thought was "OMG. I am far too young for this kind of dog. There is only elderly people keeping them".Turned out: the reality is somewhere in the middle.

What stops you from keeping one? Mine are rescues and great dogs. The last one who is believed to be a crossbreed is the only timid I ever got and turned out to be fear agressive towards people and dogs but even he is a nice, easy going cuddly boy in private. And loves non competitive coursing...
