How to stop her eating everything!?

Eight months on and we are still working on this with George. The leave it /drop it commands are really important without those he would have eaten his own weight in rubbish by now.. Practice makes perfect and be prepared for setbacks.. Sometimes a stress trigger can set George off on a...

    Muphys memoires

You could be right I spoke to mum this morning and she said Eva my brothers RR is so daft if she hears a noise in the dark she hides! But mums taxi driver is scared witless and he is convinced shes going to eat him. Mum told him to say Boo to her. He did and Eva ran behind the chair!

    Muphys memoires

Well after increasing the CBD drops at new year to give Murhy peace of mind we have now reduced them again. This morning we stood and talked to a couple with their dog pram and young child he was so calm he even remained calm when a group of joggers came past. But it only takes one idiot and...

About spaying & neutering (rant warning!)

It sounds as if the Uk are following the US on this where Ive heard early neutering/spaying is common. My vet in NL wouldnt even consider neutering/spaying a dog under a year unless there was a real medical need and they never mentioned it as a routine thing.

What questions should be asked to a potential buyer of your dog?

Everyone can make a mistake, whats important is the way youve dealt with it. Youve admitted where you went wrong and done your best to find a suitable home and do whats best for Skye. My grandson is severly autistic (8yrs old non verbal etc) and he does very well with my sons BC. But the...

    My terrors..such a fun!

@Finsky I started a FB page for my dogs Benny and Remy in 2012 after Oscar died . I thought it would be a way to force me into taking photos again. You see every time I looked through the viewfinder and only saw two of them I was reminded that he was missing so I just put the camera away . The...

What questions should be asked to a potential buyer of your dog?

Ask to visit them , if they don't want to let you see how and where they live it's a big red flag. When I decide to adopt George I allowed the owner full access to my FB page so that they could see what kind of people we were and where we walked etc. I gave them lots of info about us and I...

    My terrors..such a fun!

I can totally understand your pride..I have to restrain myself when taking photos of my two otherwise there would be a million photos! George has only been with us since last April but he and Murphy have played like this since day one and I never get fed up of watching them. I see your two take...

What an awful night, not so much for us as the cbd oil did work quite well. But there was mist and of course the idiots still let off fireworks so it made the mist worse, there were several pile ups on motorways leading here, at least 50 cars 19 injured and one dead in just one of the crashes...

    A good off leash place

Lovely photos. Some beaches here allow dogs during the winter season and Murphy loves it. We do have to be careful though he loves to swim and has no fear of water which is not always a good thing.

@Finsky as I posted about in my diary thread we started Murphy on cbd oil at the start of dec hoping to help him with general anxiety. Thats has worked well and so far today he has been fairly relaxed only barking at the very biggest bang that came into our garden.. I think next year I might be...

New Year , is there anyone who hates it as much as I do? I could honestly cry right now. I hate this with a passion. Im so lucky to live in a country where people are relaxed and civil they say goodmorning or offer help to total strangers, some people still leave their back door unlocked (even...

Black lump on my dogs tail

I have to say I agree with everyone else.. Get another opinion, March is far too long to wait. If there had been a biopsy showing it was just a scab over a scrape or other benign swelling I would say ok.. But there is no proof of exactly what this is and by March you could be in a very bad...
