Yes. It doesnt bother me or most of my dogs to go out in the rain. Sometimes it can be a nice change. Though I dont spend the day out like i enjoy doing when its sunny.

Yes she should be ok with 4 hours. That is the allowable time for dogs to be left alone. Does she stay in a crate when you leave? Maybe try settling her in it with some blankets, toys, treats etc. Things to keep her occupied. 

I started doing the trailing lead thing on friday and am going to try and do it more next week and bring treats with me. She is way to bouncy for my spaniel to handle. He hurt his leg last week probably because of her jumping all over him. How do i pacify her?

Did you have a particularly exciting weekend before the week began that you had issues? Could be that she became used to the increased interaction with you and felt suddenly anxious at this stopping. Have you thought about doggie day care or a dog sitter?
