Bax is very active with them, he likes to smoosh himself against their hands and put his paws up on their chairs for wuffly kisses. i have on resident that calls him "our dog." or "My dog." he loves him so much and theres a couple that ask about him every day even if he hasnt been in in weeks...
a blanket is an excellent idea! ... but i worry cause he likes to put his paws on their chest for face wuffling and those claws.......
what i also do is i pick him up and hold him for them but his patience is limited for that particular activity. maybe i just need to practice holding him more...
So Bax returns. He works as pseudo therapy dog on weekends going into my local nursing home to say high to the residents. He's very affectionate and mostly polite.
His problem is that he's very inconsistent. Some days he goes in and he wants all the love and affection. Other days he's a...
Bax HATES the cold and he does little dances on cold pavement that he doesnt do for hot. i think it hurts? we tend to not go on long walks once it gets down to single digits (F) cause he hates it so.
Speaking as someone from the physical therapy side (human) im agreeing with judyN. id actually lean more towards skeletal before anything else. but again, my realm is more homo sapien and less canine :p
two days is crazy early to start worrying about failure. Take some deep breaths. He's a baby/new to the household. give him (and YOU) an excuse to mess up every so often.
missing the puppy pad. he didnt use them for ages but now our walks are shorter cause he doesn't tolerate cold or snow well so hes not fully emptying the tank.
also barking. hes gotten LEAGUES better but if he barks once per day thats once to many times imho.
never had an issue with this but speaking as someone from physical therapy: if you cant get low get them to go high. call them up on a couch or a chair if you have a little guy that needs looking after.
i should get some yellow for bax! he always pulls towards other dogs so people think he's friendly and wants to say hi. and he is! it's just he gets so over stimulated by other dogs id rather not deal with it........
there was a puppy in the neighborhood and the owners were hell bent on...
i love that he loves it, with poor bax not really being a toy dog i feel like he gets so little joy outside of our walks. I'm just wondering if it would be okay to give bax his own bin of socks to pull from when he pleases. though odds are if he can get them whenever he wants he wont WANT...
Bax's jam is socks, second only to underwear. He's the biggest sock thief in the world and loves nothing better than flinging them around. He's very good about trading them when i ask for them back. He also isn't really a toy dog so i kind of secretly love it when he goes nuts for his socks. I'm...
