Intro to my spaniel & terrier

Indeed! The one thing to enliven a lazy whippet is a cheeky squirrel. Welcome from us.

    Please help..advice on cutaneous melanoma

I’ve had no experience of your situation but thoughts with you. I would only ask how Rocky is coping now? Is he happy, comfortable and enjoying life currently? Would embarking on chemo affect his quality of life? I must repeat, I’m no expert, never having been in the same situation. Positive...

How do I get my rescue dog to drink ?

This probably sounds ridiculous - will she drink fresh rainwater? I believe there’s a lot of it currently available.

    HELP & ADVICE PLEASE

Congrats and big praise for adopting the waif. All of our dogs (whippets) are rescued - two have gone to the pet shop in the sky and our current adoptee came with the mother of all emotional angst. That was almost four years ago. As others have said, it was trust and confidence which had to be...

    A ferrety update

Good for you, Ferretmum. Would be grateful for a video of Goose with his new companion. I’ve never had much to do with ferrets but there was a boy at school (boarding) who was allowed to keep them. His nickname was ‘Stench’ but I’m not sure whether this was a derivative of his surname (Stephens)...

Dog vomiting white foam, looking for advice

Have been in the same situation several times - two whippets, countless cats and one ring-tailed lemur. They leave such a void but the pain eases and, as I’ve said before, be thankful on their behalf that they’re no longer suffering. X

    Help and advice needed please

It’s a very sad situation and you have my sympathies. As for Rocco, I can only go by what I’ve seen on T.V.. Won’t the R.S.P.C.A. take him on?

    Rehydration for gippy tum.

No, JudyN. It seems to follow any introduction of a wet food or (currently) anything other than Iams and/or Bonios. She’s not stressed and seems so well and happy. As you may know she suffers a seasonal allergy (grass/pollen) - could that have developed to a gastric problem?

    Rehydration for gippy tum.

We’re (almost) back to square one re Mabel’s gippy tum. Currently in Portscatho for a week and she’s been on Iams predominantly. At the start of the week I was adding a tiny amount of Lily’s Kitchen canned food to the Iams to make it more interesting but the squits continued so I just gave her...

What a lovely face. He’s a smashing chap. He landed on his feet when you adopted the pair.

    Rehydration for gippy tum.

That’s good news. Mabel’s taking things very quietly - her intermittent gippy tummy has returned and her limp seems to be from her shoulder and not her foot. I’ll bring her check up forward. For the time being I’ve taken her off raw and put her on dry food which she has accepted.

    Rehydration for gippy tum.

I’ve just picked this up. I trust her treatment’s progressing well.
