10 Whippets each sounds like fun (We have enough mayhem with 2 !.) Great idea to get a link from the council website. We tried the local press last year with limited success but will try again next year.

Hi All, We have a small club in South West Scotland (East Ayrshire Whippet Racing Club)and we would like more members next racing season. There is an existing Non Ped racing club, which next year will hopefully host Pedigree racing as well. We know there are LOTS of whippets around this area...

Hi, Before we got our two wonderful whippet puppies; last summer I designed and landscaped the back garden with the majority of it being new turf. You probably know where this is heading but the turf is now ruined due to the urine/marking (which I accept is my fault for not putting water down...

Point taken - we bought Whippet no 2 at xmas 4 months after the first one. 2 is enough though.................... :thumbsup:

Thanks for the good advice. Took the 9 month old to the local club today where I got lots of advice. He was handslipped twice on runs of about 50 yards. Seemed to be chasing a lot better second time so I guess this could be a new hobby for me taking it a bit at a time week on week...

Thought I was being unfair to the pup yesterday by suggesting he was lazy so spent the day with the camera in my pocket hoping to catch him in action. Aside from eating his dinner this is it......
