I've not had a Jack myself but I have known 3, one of which I look after regularly, she is around 16years old now! I have to say I've loved them all and if I do adopt again I would definitely adopt an older one from a shelter, also in a heartbeat! Good luck:)
As said above, just sitting and asking nothing of them is the key, even if you just sit in garden and read a book. Trust your instincts, as Hemlock says you have been well trained already!:D
A quick update on Iggy... all checked over and although his spleen is enlarged he has no other symptoms and his temp is normal. So as he is still eating, drinking, toileting and playing, it's just a case of keeping an eye on him. Big phew and mind put at rest!:)
Sure you can still buy germolene that has a numbing agent in it online?.. If you still fancy another tat?:D:D:D
My tattooist's studio is not too far from you either...just saying...:rolleyes::D
:D:DNo probs @Tinytom;) Happy to have a ferret/tattoo thread, love both!!:cool::D
I have another planned just to even my arms up, I'm going for a snake design of some kind... I've decided that as I never go on holiday, have takeaways or even go out, out for that matter:rolleyes:, that I deserve...
Grass seeds are a nightmare, one of my dogs sniffed one up his nose and was sneezing blood. He had to go straight to vets for sedation to have it removed... I do as much avoiding of grass seed areas as possible, but with the verges and edges of parks or fields being left to grow wild it is...
I do worry about Goose, if we lose Iggy I'm not sure how he'll cope... If it was the other way round I think Iggy would cope better as he is quite often in his own little world anyway, playing with his invisible friends as much as time with his brother being nuts! He's definitely not as reliant...
:D:D:D When I first started on my tattoo journey, I was paying £10-£15 a session, which I suppose was a lot in the late 80's, but affordable...I just used to get my pay packet and pop in to have a bit more done every couple of weeks or so! I remember getting the tiny dinosaur one done after a...
I thought a ferrety update was due! The boys turned 5 this May so will attach some pics from their birthday photo shoot:D
Earlier this year our Iggy was really quite poorly and we thought we might lose him, he was a bit quiet on a Friday into Saturday and on the Sunday he couldn't move his back...
We have done a terrible job for sure but, to me, one that was sadly inevitable with a human beings desire for 'progression', I don't think things could of been any different really, evolution and all that! Personally, I like to see the beauty in our planet and it's amazing ability to adapt and...
Bit late to this but can I just say that my ferrets live indoors and eat raw meat as well as a raw egg yolk once a week. They like to 'carpet shark' after eating (wiping their faces along the floor!) and in all these years we've never had a problem with cross infections. I would not kiss them...
Second both of above, but also if there is security cctv evidence, surely the management company has this and you should have a right to see it? Also if he required a 'shot' he also would of had to seek medical help, so again I believe you should be able to ask for proof of this... I am not a...
