Some recommend 3% of pups body weight...I wonder if that is why there is alot of overweight dogs around ... we took our 2 in for their check up and the vet commented on how lovely it was to see pups that weren't overweight..yes he still calls them pups at 2yrs and 19 months :p:p:p
Having 2 large breed dogs and having fed raw for 20+ yrs my pups have been fed 2% of their body weight with no problems....
I always feed less or more as needed same as @excuseme ....
I think there are different rules in for pups..giving you longer to neuter etc ...it maybe worth talking to your local dog warden ....
He is gorgeous :D
I use natures menu free flow mince and sometimes the odd fruit and veg nuggets they sell...I use natures menu mixer which is great it's a larger size kibble biscuit just in their lunch meal ...natures menu do a fab range of frozen meals too in 400g packs ...Personally I think Raw is the best...
My boys are 23 months and 19 months large breeds ..they still have their meals cut into 3 meals ...they have raw beef or lamb mince for breakfast...sardines and natures menu biscuits for lunch and raw meat at 5/6pm ...they used to have ewes replacement milk for their bones until they were 18...
