I am no expert but with regards to her following you - I would just let her. We got my dog in July 21 when he was 11 weeks old. It has taken til now to be able to leave him for a couple of hours. I just let him follow me around the flat and now it is at a stage where he is bored following me and...
Most of it is tinned so dont need to freeze. Its weird but when he 'goes off' a food its like he almost gags when he smells it!! I have made the mistake in the past of getting too complacent and when he liked a particular food I would buy a fair bit as most of it is online and to save on...
just reading your thread now - how is she doing? Just a thought but when my dog was ill he was given Royal Canin recovery mousse - its very sloppy paste (not far off liquid in my opinion) and highly calorific so only small amounts needed (compared to normal dog food) Might not be suitable but...
Just wondered if anybody has had similar issues with the above. Freddie can only have certain food and just when we think we have a food he really likes and agrees with him he decides he doesnt like it any more. We have spent hundreds of pounds on food and most of it ends up going to charity...
thanks JudyN. We do have some biscuits similar to Bonio which he has just before bed so maybe a couple of these might work. I just dont want to make things worse for him. If we dont walk him until later he is fine so guess he just needs a little something in his tum before hand! Thanks again
I am sorry - I cannot offer any advice but just wanted to say I feel for you. They are our babies and we just want them to be happy and healthy. As Hemlock says with the right care its not always doom and gloom and the outlook can be optimistic.
Those of you who have read previous threads know that Freddie has some health issues including IBD and food tolerances. He has been through a bit of a rough phase eatingwise but seems to be back on track at the moment. Normally he is fed about 8am ish then walked about 10-10.30 ish and then...
Just a little concerned that he would go too long overnight without food if I feed earlier? Breakfast is not his favourite meal so sometimes a struggle to get him to eat in the mornings
He normally eats 3 times a day. 8.30, 1.30pm and 6pm. Walks at 10 am and 7.30pm. He does a poo on both and then again around 1am - he did this again last night. I guessed maybe it had more filler in it but he wouldn’t eat anything else yesterday. What times would you suggest feeding? Happy to...
We have had to change Freddie’s diet as he just got bored of it and won’t eat it any more. Had to go straight into a new one (albeit the dry version of the same make but different flavour) He was on the wet version and it did wonders for his stomach including mainly stopping the night time...
No expert on this but I understand there is a supplement you can give them to make their own poo taste awful so they don’t eat it. Freddie eats poo but not his own so it won’t work for him! Any other poo is like gold dust to him!
