Situated on an old Roman stone road ‘The Stanegate’ in the village of Fourstones near Hexham on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, this holiday cottage is in a great location for exploring UNESCO World Heritage Site Hadrian’s Wall Country and the surrounding area including Newcastle upon Tyne, Kielder Water and Beamish Museum. There are many walks around the village and Hadrian’s Cycleway passes the front door. The village store is a short walk from the cottage and a dog-friendly pub that serves food is less than a mile away.
